SWE12 is a brand new mentor program dedicated to inform high school girls about engineering and Texas A&M University. SWE members have volunteered to become mentors and are expected to email their mentees bi-weekly. These emails will cover topics from "What to Expect Freshman Year" to "What the Differences are Between Each Engineering Discipline." The mentors and mentees will be given a chance to meet once during the school year at Texas A&M University.
SWE is very excited to kick off this program next semester, Fall 2011!! A tentative schedule of luncheon dates and high schools that will attend is available below.
