2015 U-Ignite Video Contest & Pitch Event
What are the Entry/Submission Requirements?
Participants will create and submit a 1 to 2-minute video about their great idea that has the potential to change our lives in one of the following categories:
Technology - encompasses hardware, software, or anything that may advance current tech trends.
The Environment - could span from eco-friendly applications, alternative energy sources to access clean water.
Health - anything from personalized healthcare to dietary and fitness plans.
Everyday products - new ideas for customer products or services never before seen.
Education - ideas for personalized learning to improve or expand scholastic programs at all levels.
All undergraduate and graduate engineering students enrolled at Texas A&M University.
Note: Each team of 1-3 must have at least one team member enrolled in the Dwight Look College of Engineering.
(1) - Grand Prize - $1,000
(1) - First Runner-Up - $750
(1) - Second Runner-Up - $500
(2) - Finalists -$100

Volunteer to help call prospective female engineering students and tell them about Texas A&M and engineering on February 18th at 5pm. This is a great way to improve your communication skills, get to know SWE members and earn SWE points! And get some FREE FOOD! If you're interested, sign up on this Google Doc link.

The SWE Region C Conference is on February 6-8th, 2015 in Austin, TX. Apply to attend with a group of 20 SWE-TAMU members for an awesome and expense covered trip!
